Bobby Lee Eller, 91, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Forest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle, NC.

He was born April 12, 1932 in Rowan County to the late Homer Lee and Willie Mae Eller Park. Bobby was educated in Rowan County Schools and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a minister at many churches over the years serving Rowan, Davidson, Stanly, and Lincoln counties and Sunday school teacher. Bobby will be missed by all who knew him. Well done thy good and faithful servant. He loved to go camping in Maggie Valley.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his first wife, Lettie Wood Eller; daughters, Gennene Eller Bailey and Deborah Lucille Eller; brother, Larry Park; sisters, Edith Boone, Georgia Clark, and Sue Moose.

Bobby is survived by his wife Marie Barringer Eller; children, Brenda Eller (Dewayne) Wood, Gary Lee (Claudine) Eller, Angelia Eller, Judy (Todd) Barringer Tucker, and Nelson Barringer; brother, Rev. Jimmy Park; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends and relatives on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in the Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC, with Rev. Bruce Graham and Rev. Kay Eckstein officiating.

Burial will take place in the Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
