    • Mrs. Mamie Ethel Ward Eller, age 72, of Wilkesboro died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Select Medical Hospital.

      Funeral services will be held Saturday 2:00 PM, April 27, 2013 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Tim Lane and Rev. Bud Laws officiating. Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

      Mrs. Eller was born June 8, 1940 in Watauga County to Amos and Melinda Ward.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Jones Mack Eller, Sr.; two daughters, Sarah Marie Eller, Betty Hamby; one sister, Lilly Miller; one brother, Arnold Ward; one grandson, Clayton James Eller and step-mother, Bessie Hollins.

      She is survived by: seven daughters, Mae Parsons of Wilkesboro, Linda Eller of North Wilkesboro, Ruth Bynum of Valdese, Mary Eller of Knoxville, TN, Jannette Blanco and husband, Fernando of Wilkesboro, Faye Roberts of Wilkesboro, Angela Sprinkle and husband, Nolan of Hiddenite; four sons, Jones Mack Eller, Jr. of Huntsville, TN, James Marshal Eller of Wilkesboro, John Clay Eller and wife, Angie of Greensboro, Arnie Eller and wife, Dawn of Hays; three sisters, Myrtle Carpenter, Maxine South both of Granite Falls, Katherine South and husband, Bill of Zionsville; three brothers, Charlie Ward of Granite Falls, John Ward of Hickory, Floyd Ward and wife, Caroline of Johnson City, TN; 28 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
