• Notes

  Howard Eller was inducted into the armed Forces Sept. 25, 1942 and received his basic training at Camp Bowie, Texas. After basic training he was sent to Louisiana with the Quartermaster Corps for overseas training where he became ill and was sent to the General Hospital at Camp Burkley, Texas. He received an honorable discharge June 28, 1943 because of ill health. [1]
