On Sunday, June 2, at 9:00 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, Howard, Miss Creta Eller, Daughter of Mr. James Eller, became the bride of Mr. Milo Roby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarende Roby, of Fedora. The Reverend Melvin E. Ranheim performed the deremony.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, appeared in a long-sleeved white slipper satin gown trimmed with white lace and a bouiffant skirt entrain. The only jewelry worn by the bride was a small golden cross and chain, gift of the bridgroom, that adorned the sweetheart neckline of the gown. Her bridal bouquet was of white darnations and red roses. Her finger tip veil was held in ----- place by a white ekyelet cornet adorned with orange blossoms and pearls.
The maid of honor, Miss Patricia Scott, Minneapolis, cousin of the bride, wore a yellow chiffon dress with a sweetheart neckline, and elbow length puffed sleeves. Her colonial bouquet was of yellow roses, white carnations and sweet peas.
The bridesmaids, Miss Gloria Faye Buttermeier, cousin of the bride, and miss Donna Robinson, neice of the bride, wore identical dresses of qura chiffon with sweetheart necklines and short puffed sleeves. The bridesmaid's colonial bouquets were of red roses snapdragons and sweet peas, The bridesmaids and maid of honor wore gold heart-shaped lockets as the only ornaments for their dresses.
John Roby, Whitewater, Wisconsin, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. Mr. Gerald Roby and Mr. Bernard Roby, also brothers of the groom were ushers and attendants of the bridal couple. They wore dark suits and had white carnation buttoneires.
The bridegroom's mother, Mrs Clarence Roby, wore a yellow sheer bengaline two-piece dress trimmed in white. She had a corssge of white gardenisa and chose ?? (bottom of article torn off ADE)
