Mrs. Mary Jane Snare, wife of Frank Snare, died at her home in Penn township, near Aitch, Pa., Sunday morning at 8:00 o'clock, after a lingering illness of almost ten years. For the past nine years she had been confined to her bed.

She was a daughter of Samuel and Hannah Beaver, both deceased. She was born in Penn township, February 28, 1849 and was aged at the time of her death, 80 years and five days. Mrs. Snare lived in the vicinity of Marklesburg all her lifetime, where she endeared herself to all who know her.

Mrs. Snare is the last member of the Beaver family to pass away. She was a faithful member of the Lutheran church since early girlhood and attended regularly as long as health would permit. She was a kind and loving mother and will be sadly missed by her family.

Mrs. Snare is survived by her husband and four children; Mrs. Bertha Liveringhouse of Marklesburg, Samuel H. Snare at home, Mrs. John S. Lynn and Mrs. James H. Grove of Penn township.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Lutheran church at Marklesburg in charge of her pastor, Dr. A.B. van Ormer. Interment in Reformed church cemetery.
