Foyce Merl Eller
The funeral service for Foyce Johnston will be at 2 PM Thursday, January 15 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. The Reverend David Jones will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gary Eller, Robert Eller, Michael Mullen,Steve Paris, Royce Eller Jr. and Lee Thompson. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner.
Foyce Merl Johnston was born January 4, 1926 in Denison, TX to J. A. and Mable Coreine (Holder) Eller. She was a longtime resident of Wagoner, working for many years at the John Sleeper Agency, until her retirement. Foyce enjoyed her later years and considered her grandchildren the most important thing in her life. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, in Broken Arrow, just nine days past her 83rd birthday.
Foyce was preceded in death by her mother and father; a son, Dr. Robbie Johnston; a twin brother, Royce Earl Eller; brother, Ralph Eller, and a sister, Roberta Jane Eller. Survivors include her daughter, Jane Ann Cherry of Coweta; grandchildren and their spouses, Greg and Jenni Barlow of Coweta, OK, Matt and Amy Barlow of Yukon, OK, Kim and Josh Bittle of Claremore, OK, Christie and Troy Gallaher of Plano, TX and Robert Johnston and his fiancé, Amanda Sovik, of Charlottesville, VA; great grandchildren, Gibson Barlow, Addison Barlow, Brent Barlow and Gavin Bittle; her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Mildred Paris of Muskogee, Dutch and Bennie Eller of Muskogee, Darlene and Leonard Howdeshell of Keefton, Jim and Sandie Eller of Muskogee, Dessie and Jack Hobbs of Muskogee, Saundra and Ken Parker of Muskogee, Ronnie and Cookie Eller of Muskogee; brother-in-law, Wayne Mullen of Muskogee; sisters-in-law, Maygene Eller of Haskell, Joyce Eller of Muskogee and Betty Thompson of Wagoner; other relatives and friends.
