    • Leanna died July 14, 1888, according to one source. This source said she was 38 at the time, when actually she would have been only about 20 by that date. Another source--her brother, Levi Allen Eller--in listing the ages of Jacob's eight children at the time of their mother's death in 1907, indicated that she would have been 38 by that date, had she lived. Perhaps this explains the error.

      The author has heard vague references to Leanna indicating to him that she might have had some kind of mental problem.
