Freeman,was born in Owen County, Indiana, September 20th, 1880. He graduatedfrom the common schools of Clinton County, Indiana, in 1895, and fromDePauw University in 1908. He was converted and joined the MethodistEpiscopal Church of Hillisburg, Indiana, in 1897, entered the ministryof the church, joined the Indiana Conference at Greensburg in 1906.was ordained Deacon at Washington in 1909 and Elder at Evansville in1910. He has served the following charges: Cataract, 1906-1908;Bowling Green, 1908-1910; Cory 1910-1911; Heltonville, 1911-1915; TellCity, 1915-1917; Waldron, 1917. He is a member of the F. and A. M.Lodge at Waldron, Indiana, and of Tell City Lodge No 206. I. O. O. F.He married Agnes Meredith, September 4th, 1907. /Two/ (three) childrenwere born to this union: Margaret Adaline and Meredith Freeman.(Gertrude Alice) .
