- That there was a daughter Elizabeth is proved by the record of sale of the personal estate of Peter Eller as reported to the Nov, 1799 court of Wilkes Co, wherein "Elizabeth Eller Jr." is named as the purchaser of such items as two beds and furniture , spinning wheel, smoothing iron, two chairs, bell, bridle , wooden water can and two pigins (water dippers), (Will Book I, pp. 51*0-1*1, Wilkes Co., N.C.). The fact that she was called "Elizabeth Eller Jr." indicates that she was not then married and the character of her purchases suggest that she was preparing to be. [2]
- An Elizabeth Eller (Oct 1776-7 Dec 1844) married William Pennington and is buried in the "Old Sweetwater Cemetery" in Monroe County, TN. Find-A-Grave quotes a Mrs. Richard Jarnigan "Toumbstone Inscriptions and Manuscripts (1033). And says she is the Elizabeth, daughter of Peter Lenn Eller and Elizabeth Dick Eller. [3]
